Built for the dirtiest and toughest conditions – reliable, powerful, fully submersible.
The EYS Submersible Pump DP Series is an IP68 rated, direct-drive submersible pump range engineered specifically for the continuous transfer of fresh manure, digestate and fibrous slurry across agricultural, biogas and wastewater applications. Eight models from 3 to 18.5 kW deliver maximum flow rates from 90 to 287 m³/h and pressures to 2.19 bar. A stainless steel 1.4301 pump shaft, dual mechanical seals, special alloy impeller, adjustable cutting blades, PTC100 thermal protection and an integrated leakage sensor combine to deliver sustained, safe performance in the harshest pit conditions.
The EYS Submersible Pump DP Series is a purpose-engineered range of direct-drive submersible pumps built to handle the harshest conditions encountered in agricultural manure management, biogas digestate transfer and wastewater treatment. EYS designs the DP Series on a clear premise: manure pumps carry the most demanding duty on any farm, and they must perform without fail regardless of material condition, fibre content or operating environment. From the lightest separator liquid phase at 3 kW through to high-volume pit transfer at 18.5 kW, the eight DP models cover every transfer scenario with a common engineering platform built for reliability and long service life.
The pump housing is constructed from robust GG cast iron, rated to IP68 for continuous fully submerged operation. Every fastener throughout the pump is stainless steel 1.4301, eliminating the corrosion pathways that cause premature mechanical failure in standard fastener systems exposed to aggressive slurry chemistry. The pump shaft, also stainless steel 1.4301, provides dimensional stability and corrosion resistance at the critical interface between the motor and the hydraulic assembly. The impeller is cast from a purpose-selected special alloy that resists the abrasive wear of fibrous and particulate slurry media, sustaining hydraulic efficiency across an extended service life without the performance degradation common in standard cast iron impellers.
Two independent mechanical seals protect the motor from slurry ingress. The first seal is positioned on the central bearing before the stator, forming the primary barrier between the motor winding chamber and the process fluid. The second seal sits between the oil chamber and the impeller, providing secondary protection and isolating the oil chamber from the abrasive slurry environment. This dual-seal configuration significantly extends the safe operating life of the motor between service intervals compared to single-seal designs. A PTC100 thermal sensor embedded in the motor windings continuously monitors operating temperature, triggering protective shutdown before thermal overload can damage the stator — a critical protection feature for pumps operating under sustained high-duty cycles. An integrated leakage sensor in the main housing provides early detection of any fluid ingress into the motor chamber, enabling planned maintenance before motor failure occurs.
Fibrous media handling is addressed at the pump inlet through an adjustable special cutter blade mechanism. The blades reduce long straw, grass and fibre to a manageable particle size before the material reaches the impeller, preventing the blade wrap-around and impeller blockages that cause unplanned stoppages with standard submersible pump designs. The blades are adjustable to restore cutting geometry as they wear, and fully replaceable at end of life. The DP30 and DP40 models carry a specific role within ENVIROXX system configurations as the dedicated liquid phase transfer pump positioned after screw press separators, where the material is clean enough for a smaller pump but consistent flow is required to maintain system throughput. All eight models are supplied with a 10 metre electric cable with stainless steel cable clamps as standard.
Installation is supported by two mounting systems — the Fixed Platform System using a 100 x 100 mm stainless steel guide rail with sliding flange for safe above-ground pump lowering and raising in pits, wells and canals; and the Rotatable Lifting Platform for slurry tanks, featuring an 800 kg capacity windlass and a wall-mounted swivel bracket with 60 degree left and right rotation. Both systems eliminate the need for pit entry during routine pump installation and removal, protecting operator safety and simplifying planned maintenance across both fixed and seasonal installation scenarios. The EYS Submersible Pump DP Series integrates directly into ENVIROXX pumping system configurations as the primary pit transfer unit across agricultural, biogas and wastewater installations.
