The EYS Trommel Screen is a mobile drum screening machine engineered to deliver maximum screening efficiency, precise material fraction separation and continuous trouble-free operation across a wide range of organic and inorganic screening applications. Available in two model sizes: the EYS-5 and EYS-6, both machines are powered by a Deutz TCD 2.9 L4 engine producing 55 kW at Tier 4 Final emission class, meeting current European environmental compliance requirements. The EYS-5 delivers an effective screening surface of approximately 22.5 m² through an 1,800 mm diameter by 4,700 mm drum at up to 120 m³/h; the EYS-6 increases drum diameter to 2,000 mm and length to 5,500 mm, raising effective screening surface to approximately 30.2 m² and throughput to 180 m³/h.

A continuously running rotating cleaning brush maintains drum screen performance by preventing perforation blinding from moisture and fine particle adhesion throughout operation — eliminating the manual cleaning interventions required on unbrished trommel designs and sustaining maximum effective screening area across high-moisture compost, sewage sludge and wet soil applications where blinding is a persistent operational challenge. The cooling system incorporates an automatic reverse fan that completely reverses airflow within seconds by rotating all fan blades simultaneously to their optimal position, clearing radiator blockages caused by fine material dust without stopping the machine, an essential feature for sustained operation in the heavy dust environment of biomass and compost screening.
Machine operation is managed through a 7-inch colour touchscreen display that provides intuitive control of all machine functions, live operating status and fault indication from a single interface. An optional RF remote control extends operational flexibility by allowing the machine to be controlled from a safe distance during loader feeding and material handling operations. An optional telematics system provides full remote monitoring of machine data, status and service indicators from any connected device, enabling remote management of fleets across multiple sites and proactive maintenance scheduling without requiring a site visit. Both models are supplied with separate undersize and oversize discharge conveyors with adjustable angle settings and an optional flow divider, enabling direct two-stream separation into distinct stockpiles without secondary re-handling. The standard infeed hopper of approximately 6 m³ is optionally expandable to 8.5 m³ for high-volume wheel loader or telehandler feeding operations. Both machines fold to a transport width of 2,550 mm for standard road transport, enabling rapid site-to-site relocation.
